Mr. S. Sunil, Executive Chairman and Nominee Director of SPICL / Government of Sikkim

Mr. S. Sunil is an MBA (Fin.) and LLB, having work experience of over 30 years. He is Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Hon’ble Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), Chief Minister, Government of Sikkim; Chairman & Managing Director, Sikkim Power Investment Corporation Limited; and Vice Chairman, Sikkim Reforms & Development Board, under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), Chief Minister, Government of Sikkim.

Mr. Dinesh Prasad Bhargava, Managing Director & Nominee Director of SPICL / Government of Sikkim

Mr. Dinesh Prasad Bhargava is an Engineering Professional with 42 years of experience in the field of Hydropower. He was involved in design, DPRs preparation, construction, testing & commissioning, and operation & maintenance of large Hydropower plants in India & Bhutan. He joined NHPC and rose to the position of Director (Technical) NHPC in March 2009. He superannuated from NHPC in March 2016 after serving there for 38 years. Thereafter, he associated with NEEPCO (a CPSU) as expert consultant for the three under construction projects. Since September 2016 he is associated with Sikkim Urja Limited (SUL) and worked as Chief Consultant (O&M) and involved in Operation & Maintenance activities of Teesta - III Hydropower Plant, before assuming charge as Managing Director, SUL. He did graduation in Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical with Honors from University of Roorkee in 1978.

Mrs. Stuti Narain Kacker, Independent Director

Mrs. Stuti Narain Kacker is a former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of 1978 batch of Uttar Pradesh Cadre. She has experience of more than 40 years and worked extensively in the areas of social justice and empowerment, information and broadcasting, and industrial development including several years in the MSME sector, both in the State and Central Government. She was retired as the Chairperson of the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights.

Mr. Lov Verma, Independent Director

Mr. Lov Verma is former officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of 1978 batch of Uttar Pradesh Cadre. He has experience of more than 37 years spanning a wide range of assignments, including 3 years as Secretary to Government of India. He has served at senior positions in the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the State Departments of Health, Finance, Industry, Public Works and others and have done field assignments as District Magistrate and Divisional Commissioner in UP. He has also served as Principal Secretary to the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Ganesh Chettri, Nominee Director of SPICL / Government of Sikkim

Mr. Ganesh Chettri is the Principal Chief Engineer-cum-Secretary of the Power Department, Government of Sikkim. He has more than 33 years of experience working with the State Power Department. He is Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Mr. Hem Kumar Chettri, Nominee Director of SPICL / Government of Sikkim

Mr. Hem Kumar Chettri is a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Delhi. Mr. Chettri is a Sikkim State Civil Service officer and has worked in various posts/capacity under Government of Sikkim for last 28 years. Presently, he is posted as District Collector & Magistrate of Mangan District, Sikkim.

Mrs. Yishey Doma Yongda, Nominee Director of SPICL / Government of Sikkim

Mrs. Yishey Doma Yongda is having degree in BA - English (Hons.), MA -English and MA -Political Science from Delhi University and pursuing Master’s in Environmental Law from National Law School, Bengaluru. Mrs. Yongda is a civil servant in the Government of Sikkim from the State Civil Service Batch of 2002 and presently posted as District Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Gyalshing District, Sikkim.

In 2009, Mrs. Yongda was awarded with the State Award for Meritorious Service while posted as Deputy Secretary-cum-State Coordinator of the Government of India’s Mission Programme “Total Sanitation Campaign” in recognition of her contribution to the state when the State attained the status of 1st Nirmal Rajya in the country. In April, 2013, she represented India at the Global Zero Waste Conference at Como, Italy.

Mr. Ratish Kumar, Nominee Director of SPICL / Government of Sikkim

Mr. Ratish Kumar is B. Tech (Electrical) from Govind Ballabh Pant University and having diverse work experience of more than 38 years in the fields of Hydro Power as well as Solar & Wind Renewable Energy Projects. He joined NHPC in 1982 as TE (ELECT) and climbed up to the level of Director (Projects) and CMD, NHPC and got retired in December 2020 from NHPC. He was also Nominee Director and Chairman of two JVs of NHPC viz Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited and Lanco Teesta Hydro Project Limited. He has vast experience of managing multi-faceted divisions inculcated the specialization in conceiving the project, design and engineering of E&M equipment, layout of hydro power projects, power potential studies, appraisal of new projects and preparation of DPR etc. and was in- charge of construction of one of the biggest projects in India viz Subansiri Lower (2000 MW) and Parbati II (800 MW) etc.

Mr. Dondla Nagendra Prasad, Nominee Director of Asian Genco TUL Pte. Ltd.

Mr. Dondla Nagendra Prasad is working as Director (Projects) from Greenko and has over 13 years of experience in Operations and Business Development especially in Energy sector. He holds Master’s Degree in Management from University of Wales, United Kingdom, an MBA from MDI, Gurgaon and Leadership Development Programme from ISB, Hyderabad.

Mr. Naredla Venugopala Rao, Nominee Director of Asian Genco TUL Pte. Ltd.

Mr. Naredla Venugopala Rao is an MBA from Andhra University, and attended advanced programs including at AIM, Philippines, US-AID/ASCI, Hyderabad. He is a power-sector professional with around 40 years of experience in public and private sectors, across both conventional and renewable energy segments. Presently he is associated with the Greenko group as a Senior Advisor. He has worked as Group CFO, CEO & Whole-Time Director of Reliance Power, CEO of Sasan Power, Executive Director in Lanco, and has held various positions in NTPC. He has a diverse blend of experience across organizational management & control, project planning, development, execution and operations and has received various accolades including a “Lifetime Achievement Award-2017” for his contribution to CSR activities from Greentech Foundation and “The Economic Times Power Focus award“ in 2017 for remarkable performance in Power sector.

Mr. Gopalam Adiseshu, Nominee Director of Greenko Energies Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Gopalam Adiseshu has professional experience of more than 48 Years in the execution of Hydel Projects, Renewable Energy Projects, and Development of Large-scale Solar Parks. He was associated with all the Hydel Projects that have come up in the Combined State of Andhra Pradesh from 1975 to 2013 in various capacities. He has vast experience in Formulation of Schemes, Preparation of DPR, Contracts and Procurement, Contracts management and Execution & Commissioning of the Projects as Director (Hydel). He was member of the High-Level Committee to oversee the Designs of Lift Irrigation Schemes. He has joined APSEB, as Junior Engineer in 1972 in a Rural Distribution Section and switched over to Hydel Designs wing in Dec 1973 and rose to the level of Chief Engineer in Jan 2004 in the erstwhile APGENCO. He was promoted as Director (Hydel) in Oct 2004 and continued till Oct 2013 (3 Terms of 3 Years each) as Director / Hydel. He was in-charge of O&M of about 4500 MW of Hydel Projects and execution of Hydel and Renewable Projects in the combined State of Andhra Pradesh. He was appointed as Advisor / APGENCO by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh in Jan 2014 and appointed as MD / AP Solar Power Corporation, a JV of Govt. of India and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh in 2015 and continued till Aug 2019 as MD / APSPCL and Advisor / APGENCO. He has developed successfully 1500MW Anantapur Solar Park, 1000MW Kurnool Solar Park, 1000MW Kadapa Solar Park and 500MW Anantapur-2 Solar Park in a Record Time. He was appointed by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh as a Member of an Expert Committee to audit the Contracts of Irrigation Dept, CRDA. Tidco, Housing Corporation in June 2019 to Oct 2019.

Dr. Rajib Kumar Mishra, Nominee Director of PTC India Limited

Dr. Rajib Kumar Mishra is Ph.D. (Business Admin.) from Aligarh Muslim University. He did Graduation in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Durgapur and Post Graduation from NTNU, Norway under NORAD Fellowship. He has professional experience of 30 years with POWERGRID, NTPC and PTC India Limited (PTC). He is Director (Marketing & Business Development) and also holding additional charge of CMD of PTC . He has joined PTC Board on 24th February 2015 as Director (Marketing and Business Development). Prior to this, he has worked as Executive Director PTC since October 2011 and was responsible for Operations, Business Development, Retail & Advisory Services. He has authored four published Books by Rupa & Co. and twenty-four technical and Management papers.

Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha, Nominee Director of REC Limited

Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha is a skilled and results-oriented Power sector professional with over 32 years’ experience in complete power sector value chain handling a blend of Generation – Conventional & Renewable, Distribution and Transmission segments comprising project execution & management, operation & maintenance, project monitoring and financing. Presently he is working with REC as Executive Director responsible for State sector business (both conventional & new products) and additionally catering duties as Chief of Staff to Chairman & Managing Director, wherein assisting evaluation of future business avenues and enabling management of activities pertaining to entire Company operations. He had also played pivotal roles in conceptualization & implementation of key Government of India’s techno-commercial initiatives viz. Liquidity Infusion Scheme, 0.50% Addl. Borrowing Limits, UDAY, DDUGJY, IPDS, NEF and the recently launched RDSS.

Mr. Hemant Kumar Das, Nominee Director of Power Finance Corporation Ltd.

Mr. Hemant Kumar Das is B. Tech and M. Tech from IIT Delhi and MBA in International Business from IIFT, Delhi and having overall experience of 30 years. Presently, he is holding the position of Executive Director in Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC) and In-charge of PFC’s Eastern Region and North Eastern Region (ER&NER) of Projects Division and has also been handling USAID sponsored Projects and various Govt. of India schemes.
